How the Calculation Works

The range of your electric scooter is estimated using the following formula:

Range = (Voltage * Capacity) / ((Weight / 75) * (Power / 500)) * (Speed / 20)

Where:

  • Voltage is the battery voltage in volts (V).
  • Capacity is the battery capacity in ampere-hours (Ah).
  • Weight is the driver's weight in kilograms (kg).
  • Power is the nominal motor power in watts (W).
  • Speed is the average driving speed in kilometers per hour (km/h).

Additional adjustments are made based on the stoppage frequency, hill occurrences, and outdoor temperature to provide a more accurate range estimation.
